Hello and happy Monday everyone, hope all is well on this 13th of February. This week is starting off a little active and we’ll continue this active weather pattern as another storm system slides through the nation later this week.

Record Snow in Texas

Lubbock, TX picked up 2.8″ of snow on Sunday, good enough for a daily record.

More Wintry Weather

The same system that dropped snow across Texas yesterday, continues to churn east through the middle part of the country. The National Weather Service has a number of advisories and warnings issued for light/nuisance amounts of snow. The precipitation stretches from southern Minnesota to the Gulf Coast.

Winter Weather Headlines

Look at all the wintry weather headlines that have been issued by the National Weather Service through the middle part of the country, this is were 1″ to 3″ (isolated 4″) is possible. Also note the wintry weather headlines across the southwestern part of the country, this is where 3″ to 6″ of snow could fall above 4000ft. and 6″ to 12″ could fall above 55ooft. through Tuesday.
