Over the last few days you may have noticed some changes to the HAMweather site.  Most significant is the logo change of “HAMweather, a WeatherNation Company”.  As CEO of WeatherNation I am proud to announce the addition of HAMweather to the WeatherNation team.

For those of you that are asking yourself “What the heck is WeatherNation?”, please check out our website at www.WeatherNation.net to learn more about what we’re doing.  We are a company that provides specially-formatted weather videos, in both English and Spanish, using professional, degreed, on-air meteorologists.  Our videos span national, regional, and hyper-local communities for use on-air for broadcast and cable, as well as on-line and mobile applications.

Last year we quickly realized that HAMweather provided the most comprehensive graphical and data packages available, with just the right flair for design that we were looking for to compliment our offerings.  Thus, we joined forces and completed an acquisition.  We could not be happier about bringing Lee Huffman and his team into our weather family; we’ve been very pleased with the quality, tenacity and creativity the HAMweather team has already contributed and some amazing upgrades and services are in the development pipeline.

We want to assure current HAMweather customers that we appreciate your loyalty to HAMweather; we will continue to provide you with the superior content and support that you have grown accustomed to over the years. HAMweather was recently acquired by WeatherNation, LLC, a weather company with clients in both broadcast and online industries.

WeatherNation brings a talented staff of CBM & AMS Certified Professional Meteorologists, working 365 days a year, producing video weather content for the entire country from 3 state-of-the-art HD weather studios.    In both English and Spanish, WeatherNation provides National, Regional and market-specific weather videos of varying lengths, which are updated around the clock to keep them fresh, relevant and accurate.  With the ability to produce videos in any file format, from HD to mobile-friendly formats, WeatherNation weather videos can be integrated with HAMweather content to serve any application.

Over the next few weeks, you will begin to see some changes to our website, which will include new and enhanced video, graphic, and interactive mapping applications.

For our current clients it’s business as usual; we will continue to work with you to ensure your needs are met throughout the ongoing integration of the two companies.
